[phpzon]Tee Ball Bat, .What are some ways to hit a ball beter in baseball?
First off i take dry swings every day i hit a ball off a tee everyday into a net i do"SoftToss" and i go to the battinng cages once a week !I am an alright hitter but i was wondering if there is anything extra i could be doing i am 5'1" i am 122 lbs. I am fast i run a 4.6 40 yard dash. i played football i am 14 i play babe ruth baseball.My bat is a addias vanquish it s a 2 and 3/4 inch barrel is 30 inches long its a -8 bat also
First off, you should be using a -3 bat if you're in Babe Ruth
It'll give you more solid hits
The only way to be a good hitter is form and technique. Using good technique takes good hitters to great hitters and great hitters to amazing hitters. Pick up a book called Lau's Laws on Hitting.
I can't even explain how much it's helped me (I was playing in a league last year where the ages were 10-12. I was 12, so I was one of the older kids in the league. I hit around .300-.350. This year I moved up to the big diamond (13-15 Y.O.), and I'm a 13 year old, so I'm one of the youngest kids. This year I'm batting .500, lol it sounds like I'm bragging, but I'm just proving that the book is that good). He's one of the best hitting coaches in history, and he's worked with some great players (you know, nobody special, just George Brett, Tony Gwynn, and Alex Rodriguez among many).
Pretty much every Major Leaguer uses his instruction because his clients have had so much success. I highly reccomend his book.
